So glad everyone liked my silly photo from yesterday. I thought you would enjoy it as much as I did LOL

I really still have no idea why someone would even think to grant a porta-potty to the city for the summer. Oh well, it does take all kinds now doesn’t it?

On to more serious pictures from our venture to Pony Pasture Park. Here is a shot upstream of the rapids. Usually the water is higher and rushing but with us only having rain once in 3 weeks the river levels are very low. I must say I really enjoy visiting here, just sitting and staring at the rocks is so enjoyable.

This was converted to HDR using 3 hand held raw shots and then shot (raw), merged using Photomatix HDR software. Love the highlights the software gave it. Thoughts??
Tomorrow I will share another view of the river. I hope everyone has a great evening. Take care.
So this past Sunday Chris (my oldest DS) and his fiancé and I headed down to Pony Pasture Park here in Richmond for a short photo walk. Short because it was suppose to hit 100 by 11:00 am and I didn’t plan on being out there in that heat (it did hit 100 btw). I managed to get several shots that I am very happy with and you will be seeing these as the week goes along but first I must start with this one……
I still don’t know what to say. Such an interesting gift to the citizens of our state capital.

Makes you wonder does it not???
Hope you have a great evening. Take care
Okay so it’s not the bay, it’s the James River and it’s not a dock, it’s a bridge but doesn’t this Blue Heron look so content just watching the world drift by?

He/She was just standing here when I drove by so I turned around and snapped this before he/she disappeared. SOTC, 70-300 lens and cropped.
Here is hoping everyone has a great week. I know I am looking forward to a long holiday weekend as I am taking Friday off and they are giving us Monday. Woot Woot!!!
