John and I decided to take a drive out to Maymont Estate for Easter since we were deserted by all the kids this year (hehehe). John had never been and I was anxious to see what was in bloom.. While not fully in bloom, parts of the estate were gorgeous.

These are a few shots of the grounds and the Easter tulips, tomorrow I will share some of the animals of Maymont.

Merry Christmas!!

From our house to yours.

As some of you know, I just got back from an amazing weekend in WDW with  many of my friends.  It was a great girls weekend.

I spent a lot of time also on this trip behind my camera and will start posting my favorites.  First park up will be Epcot, that park is a photographers heaven and I could have spent days there instead of just the one. I definitely will find time on another trip to photograph there more.

My first POTD from the trip may very well be one of my all time favorites.. I shot it at the end of a very long day when I just happened to look over and saw the Christmas tree in the background screaming to be photographed with the water fountain.

This was completely hand held, a small crop and I erased a light pole to the left of the fountain, other than that no other techniques were used.
