Asian Temple

I am literally posting this on the run, I’ve got laundry to finish, dishes to do, and about 10 other things and I want to get to bed early..yea right LOL…

We are still in Walt Disney World via my POTD., well if you can’t be there in person, why not POTD??

Here is the temple in Asia, Disney’s Animal Kingdom using Topaz Adjust

Courtyard

Sorry to have missed the last few days.. I came down with another onset of vertigo with a major headache for the topping and that along with helping to pack our office for the big move to downtown is taking lots of my time. Since I don’t think it is fair to post if I can’t visit others sites to comment I didn’t post.

Today’s POTD is a cute courtyard I found in AK.  There is so much more to that park than I ever imagined.  This courtyard/dining area is behind a counter service restaurant near the main area of the park, past the Tree of Life (across from Tusker House) and I think it would be a perfect place to go have  rest and some quiet time if needed.

Hope you have a wonderful week. I look forward to everyone’s shares this week.

Saving the Duck

By now most of you know I love ducks and can watch them for hours.  They are just so peaceful gliding along the water and sitting on the banks.  Well of course I had to take duck shots when I saw them sitting alongside a rocky waterfall in Animal Kingdom.  Unfortunately,  when I got home the shots were terribly dark, I don’t know what I did wrong but you wouldn’t even be able to see a duck on the photo unless you knew to look for one/them.  I was so disappointed.

I decided the other night to just see what I might be able to do with one of the photo’s in Lightroom, basically more to play around than anything than with any hope of salvation.  I am so happy I did.. This is the result and one of the reasons I love Lightroom :)

and since some may care to see the before:

Not bad huh :)    Thanks for looking and all the comments this week.  Each and everyone continues to inspire me to take more photos.
